Once your system is ready for dispatch it is collected from our premises and delivered free of charge by City Link Next Day delivery. Specific delivery times can be chosen by selecting the appropriate choice during the place order process. Customers can also track their delivery using the City Link Website.

In the unlikely event that your system develops a problem just inform us via telephone or email and if it is determined that an item is faulty and within its warranty period we will arrange collection and dispatch a replacement or rectify the fault, and because we retain all original purchase orders there’s no need to provide reciepts, just your customer details.

Most system builders install the operating system using quick and dirty cloning or unattended installation methods which presents the user with a standardised, one size fits all Windows environment. Moreover, users will discover when it’s too late that they could be missing vital installation CDs, end user license keys or both!

When you purchase your system from Microbuild not only is the operating system hand installed, updated, tuned and personalised (see Themes and Performance for more information) but you will also receive a full, original and authentic Windows™ Operating System CD and end user license key so you can be confident of product authenticity and are able to reinstall your operating system in the future.

A Microbuild system not only out performs others, they look and sound fantastic too. Standard Windows™ XP installations only include one theme with three colour variations and are locked so that new themes can’t be added. Our XP based systems are supplied with a selection of the best themes available and are unlocked so you can customise your boot screen, login screen and desktop to suite your own style. We also include unique sound themes so you can truly make your Windows™ XP environment your own.

Not all computers are built the same way, the specifications may appear similar but system performance can vary by a significant degree due to inferior components, compatibility issues, poor build quality, outdated software installation, cursory testing and little or no customisation.

All software drivers and firmware updates are applied with the same attention to detail before further tuning your system.
